Dr. Abdelaziz Ghanemi
Dr. Abdelaziz Ghanemi is a multidisciplinary researcher with a PhD from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, recognized for his integrative work bridging neuroscience, metabolism, and exercise physiology. Currently affiliated with Université Laval and the University of Victoria in Canada, his research explores the molecular and cellular mechanisms linking brain function, obesity, metabolic disorders, and physical activity.
Dr. Ghanemi’s work focuses on understanding how metabolic imbalance influences neurological processes and how exercise can serve as a therapeutic strategy to improve both metabolic and cognitive health. By combining molecular biology, pharmacology, and systems physiology approaches, he aims to identify novel therapeutic targets that address complex chronic conditions such as obesity, neurodegenerative diseases, and metabolic syndrome.
Throughout his academic career, he has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and international collaborations, reflecting his strong commitment to translational and interdisciplinary science. His research not only advances scientific knowledge but also supports the development of innovative prevention and treatment strategies that integrate lifestyle interventions with biomedical approaches.
Dr. Ghanemi continues to contribute actively to global scientific dialogue through research, mentorship, and academic engagement in neuroscience and metabolic health.
