Prof. Patricia Tai is an internationally recognized Radiation Oncologist based in Canada, with extensive clinical, academic, and research expertise in oncology. A gold medal graduate of the University of Hong Kong, she completed advanced specialist training under globally respected leaders in cancer care, including Prof. John Ho in nasopharyngeal cancer, Prof. David McDonald in brain tumor response assessment, and medical physics expert Mr. Jake Van Dyk. Her strong multidisciplinary foundation has shaped her evidence-based and patient-centered approach to radiation therapy.
Prof. Tai is widely known for her specialization in skin cancer and has authored five chapters for UpToDate, contributing significantly to global clinical education and evidence-based practice. Prostate cancer is another major area of her research focus, where she continues to advance treatment strategies and clinical outcomes.
She currently serves as a Clinical Professor at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. Her academic productivity includes 153 full peer-reviewed publications, 220 conference abstracts, and 190 oral and poster presentations. She has received 13 professional awards in recognition of her excellence in research, teaching, and clinical care.
